Texas Stew

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 15-ounce can Ranch Style beans
  • 1 15-ounce can whole kernel corn
  • 1 15-ounce can tomatoes (plain or spicy)
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 1 small green pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat with onions, peppers, salt and pepper. Add beans, corn and tomatoes. Do not drain. Put in crock pot for 4 to 6 hours. Can also be heated on stove for 20 minutes in regular pot. Great doubled. Serve with corn bread and green salad.
