MONDAY APRIL 13TH: Arrive around 2:00 pm for set up. Dinner on your own. At 7:00 pm a special concert with Neil Diamond will be held in the recreation room. Bring your own snacks and drink.
TUESDAY APRIL 14th: Breakfast in recreation room at 9:30 am. Eggs, cornbeef hash, pancakes, fruit, orange juice coffee will be served. Bring your own table setting. AT 1:00 pm we will travel to Billingsley Creek State Park to tour their new facilities. There is fishing, hiking, bird watching and picnic tables. Bring your own lunch. Dinner on your own. At 6:30 pm at the recreation hall will be card bingo. Bring 4 nickels, 4 dimes, 2 quarters and 1 dollar.
WEDNESDAY APRIL 15th: Breakfast on your own. At 11:30 am we will travel to Hagerman Senior Center for lunch. Adress is 140 East Lake Street. After lunch visit Hagerman downtown for shopping. Dinner on your own. Fellowship and cards etc. in recreation room in the evening.
THURSDAY APRIL 16: Breakfast on your own. At 10:00 am a cornhole tournament at Bob's rig for men and women. Come and play or watch. Bring your own chairs and drink. Lunch on your own. At 5:30 pm dinner at the Snake River Grill in Hagerman. Menu TBA.
FRIDAY APRIL 17t: Time to pack up and head home after a great camping trip.

Reservation information

WILDHORSE
Our July Campout will be in Silverton Ore. We will depart Boise on Sunday July 12th and drive to Wildhorse Casino and RV park in Pendleton Ore. We will stop there for the night of the July 12th and on our return trip on July 17th. You will need to contact the Wildhorse Casino and RV Park for your reservation. Be sure to tell them you are with the Capitol Gypsies. The cost for one night is $56.68 and this includes tax. You must call to reserve your space. Their phone is: 541-278-2274 or 541-966-1969 and contact Andrea Decker.
We will depart Pendleton on July 13th traveling on I-84 to Silverton Ore.

SILVER SPUR
We will check in at the Silver Spur RV Resort. They will place us together. We have 20 spaces reserved for us. We will stay there on July 13,14,15,16 leaving on the morning of the 17th. The cost is $71.05 per night including tax.
These are full hookups, 30-50 AMP service and all are pull thru sites.
You must call Silver Spur RV park to get your reservation: Contact is 503-873-2020 Angela Marone, Rally Coordinator. Reservations must be made 30 days prior arrival. Be sure to state you are with Capital Gypsies.

WILDHORSE
We will drive to Pendleton on July 17th and spend the night again at Wildhorse Casino and RV park and depart on July 18th for home.
This is a joint campout with Time to Travel and Capitol Gypsies. So you will want to get your reservation in early. If we have any vacancy, we will invite Kuna Travelers and Caldwell Ramblers to join us.

July 12 (Sunday) at 10:00 am IDAHO TIME Caravan departs from Ontario Welcome Center – Travel Oregon Rest Area, Mile post 377.4 for Wildhorse Casino RV Park. Bring fully charged walkie talkies if you have them. Please indicate on the sign-up sheet if you intend to be part of the caravan. If you do not sign up, we won’t wait for you.

CHANGE CLOCKS TO OREGON TIME …SET CLOCKS BACK ONE HOUR.

• 6 p.m., Oregon time, bring finger foods to share to the Gates’ site #15. Dinner on your own follows.

July 14 (Tuesday)
• 7 a.m.-Coffee at Lynn Marshall’s site #18. Bring goodies to share.
• 10:00 am -Silver Falls State Park tour caravan by cars begins. Cell phone coverage is poor. Be sure to bring map and walkie talkie if you have one.
• Noon-Lunch at Big Leaf Bar and Grill located in the park.
• Hiking of the falls for those who are up for it follows lunch. Easy or long hike; few or many waterfalls
• Dinner on your own.
July 15 (Wednesday)
• 7 a.m.-Coffee at Lynn Marshall’s site #18. Bring goodies to share.
• 11:00 a.m. OR noon- Frank Lloyd Wright – The Gordon House tour. Located next to the Oregon Garden, l869 Main Street, Silverton, OR. Tickets are $15 each, payable at the door. We will need to split into two groups. Please put time choice on sign-up sheet. You might want to bring a lunch sack as there is no food except snacks to purchase at the Garden.
• 1:00 p.m.-Oregon Garden Narrated Tram Tour, 879 W. Main Street, Silverton, OR. We have a group price for the tour of $13 each which includes admission to the Garden, open tram ride and guided narration. Please pay directly to Julie Vick when you sign up on the sign-in sheet as Julie must pay with one check ahead of time to get this rate.
• 6:00 p.m.-Pot-Luck Dinner at Silver Spur RV Park on reserved covered patio and fire pit near the resort office. Hamburgers and hot dogs provided; sign up for condiments, sides or desserts on the sign-up sheet.
July 16 (Thursday)
• 7 a.m.-Coffee at Lynn Marshall’s site #18. Bring goodies to share.
• Morning and afternoon on your own. See some Suggestions below for sites to visit. If you have a car to drive, please invite others to join you.
• 5:00 p.m.-Group dinner at The Home Place, 1080 N First Street, Silverton, OR. They have a room upstairs reserved for us. You can order from their full menu.
July 17 (Friday)
• 11:00 a.m.-Caravan departs Silver Spur RV for Wildhorse Casino RV Park.
• Rest Stop at Memaloose Rest Area, exit 72.9 E
• Check into Wildhorse Casino RV Park after 3:00 p.m. I-84, Exit 216 Near Pendleton
• Dinner on your own.

July 18 (Saturday)
• Return home on your own.

• Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum-McMinnville, OR-39 miles from Silverton
• Home of the Spruce Goose, 500 NE Captain Michael King Smith Way, McMinnville, OR 97128.

• Covered bridges near Silverton
• Gallon House Bridge, about 1.5 miles NW of Silverton, 7200 Gallon House Road, NE, Mt. Angel, OR was built in 1916 and is the oldest and last remaining covered bridge in Marion County
• The Silverton Creek Covered Bridge, 4 minutes from Silver Spur RV Park, 111 Fiske Street, Silverton, is a modern replica of a covered bridge.
• Walk around Downtown Silverton. It is a cute community with quaint shops and places to eat as well as many murals to view.
