Yanke Motor Museum

The Yanke Motor Museum is an eclectic collection of vehicles from the past. It is housed in a huge warehouse divided and filled with vintage automobiles, motorcyles, fire engines, pickups & trucks, Police Paddy Wagon and old ambulances ranging around early 1900's to the 1970's. There was a Basque Sheepherder wagon and an irrigation wagon used for watering fields. Mrs. Yanke collected vintage clothing, sewing machines and washing machines. Also set-up were school desks for the 1930-40's with vintage books. A antique baby grand piano was on display with original sheets of music. A very amazing couple of hours just wandering through the different rooms. There was a separate room with vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles and scooters.

We began our day with lunch at Willowcreek Grill.

Then we motored about two miles over to the museum. This is one of several rooms full of old vehicles. And there were even more vehicles and farm tools outside the building.

We'll only show a couple of photos.

We managed to get most of us together for a group photo.
