2015 Samboree
This year's Idaho Samboree took place at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds in Filer Idaho. There were a total of 96 rigs attending the event, including 8 rigs from our chapter.
The theme of this year's Samboree was "PUT THE MAGIC IN YOUR STEP".
Wednesday night's entertainment was a magic act followed by a dance band called, "Throttle Back".
We fielded a bean-bag baseball team. Such as it was.
There was a memorial service for Good Sam members who have passed. Joy Baker and Merle Martinson were remembered.
The veterans held a flag retirement ceremony. Some Time-to-Travel members participated by burning a retired flag in memory of their loved one.
A couple of members of our chapter participated in the dutch oven cookoff. Kathy made an apple crisp and Ken & Monica made a strawberry and rhubarb cobbler.
Gary teamed up with Frank Sargent to win the tractor rodeo contest.
