April 2009 Campout
Bruneau Dunes State Park

Our first campout this year was at Bruneau Sand Dunes.

The State Park is about 20 miles south of Mountain Home.

There are two campgrounds. We had this one to ourselves until the weekend.

On Thursday Bob and Judy took us to the Bruneau Overlook.

It was a blustery day.

800 feet below the overlook is the Bruneau River.

That evening we had a pot-luck dinner in the gazebo.

Cleaning up after dinner. Time for games now.

Friday morning it rained.

But Friday afternoon we drove over to C.J. Strike, just to check it out.
