April 2007 - Hagerman Idaho

Our first outing in 2007 was at Hagerman in Southern Idaho. The area is in the Snake River Valley and is famous for the fossils found nearby.

We had a large turnout, eleven rigs - some of whom showed up late after trying their luck in Jackpot. The weatherman couldn't have treated us nicer.

A highlight of all of our outings is the pot-luck meals. This one had an Italian theme and some of us ate too much to go back for one of the wonderful looking desserts.

How could we have a photo album of this trip without a picture of the Snake River?

The valley has many privately owned fish hatcheries such as this one.

The farms were cleared of huge rocks many years ago.

This is where the famous fossils of the "Hagerman Horse" were found.

We had the key to the game room and, believe me, we used it a lot.

Finally, a relaxing dip in the hot spring fed swimming pool.
