2pmish a walking tour through the old downtown to view some of the many (now over 200) murals that have earned the city the governor's designation as the mural capital of Idaho.
2:30pmish Blue Pit Brewing and Quilter's Treasure Chest. Located in the heart of the old downtown and about 2.5 blocks from the museum. Blue Pit Brewing is Mountain Home's premiere craft brewer where we will have planned a tour of its brewing process. Adjacent is the Quilter's Treasure Chest, a charming new quilt shop (since November 2023) also worth a visit for any who loves quilting.

6:30 Pm games at clubhouse and a cookie social. Bring your own special cookies for all to sample.
Tuesday april 8th:
Hagerman National Fish Hatchery at 7:30 am for a guided tour and trailering of trout to be distrubited in Idaho streams. Address 3059 d National Fish Hatchery Road, Hagerman. There will be coffee and sweet rolls on Larry's tailgate.
Return back to camp for breakfast and or lunch on your own.
After lunch for cornhole at 1:30 or rec room activities.
Dinner will be breakfast for dinner at 5:30 with eggs,sausage,orange juice,and bob's famous pancakes in the clubhouse.
After dinner we will have games with card bingo with our own Marilyn Harris. Please bring nickels, dimes and quarters.
Wednesday april 9th:
Breakfast on your own.
Noon at Hagerman Senior Center 140 East Lake Street for swiss steak with all the trimmings including a special dessert. A $5.00 donation is expected per person.
After lunch youare on your own to visit downtown Hagerman.
Dinner on your own followed by ice cream sundays in the
clubhouse at 6:30 pm with fellowship and games.
Thursday april 10th:
Breakfast and lunch on your own.
Then at 1:00 pm a guided tour of the Hagerman Historical Museum
111 Hagerman Avenue with Teri Krohn docent. A $5.00 per person is required for admission.
On your own until dinner at the Snake River Grill (611 frogs landing) at 5:30 pm. Order from menu.

BAKER CITY OREGON CAMPOUT

May 12 (Monday) Travel to Mountain View RV Park. Check in time is after 1PM PDT. The park is 132 miles from Boise and the campground is 3 miles north of Baker City on HWY 30. All sites have a picnic table and most have trees. The campground has a locked meeting room which we have available for our use. It is furnished with tables and chairs as well as a refrigerator and microwave but not a stove top. There is a large barbecue on the outside of the building. A heated outside swimming pool and an indoor spa are on the grounds as well as laundry facilities and a small general store. Pets on leash are welcome and an off leash dog park is provided. Dinner is at 5:30 PM at a camp site or the meeting room. TBD. Bring your own table setting, drink, and finger food to share. Dessert provided.
May 13 (Tuesday) Breakfast and lunch on your own. Tour of the National Historical Oregon Trail Interpretive Center at 1 pm. Let’s meet and carpool as needed. The center is located at 22267 HWY 86, Baker, Oregon. Park on the upper lot. The cost is $6 and includes a 30 minute Ranger talk and then time to explore the museum on your own. Wear your name tag or lanyard and gather in front of the museum on arriving. Dinner will be at the Inland Cafe-2715 10th St., Baker City arriving between 4:30-5:30 pm. The cafe is a local favorite with a large variety of meal choices as well as breakfast being served all day.
May 14th (Wednesday) Breakfast on your own. Lunch 11:30 A.M. At the Baker City Senior Center-2810 Cedar St. A $6 donation is requested. After lunch we will meet at the Heritage Museum-2480 Grove St., just a half mile drive, for a self guided tour. Entrance fee is $6. The museum features the development of the city following the discovery of gold. Following the museum we will drive to the historic downtown, another half mile drive, and meet in front of the Geiser Grand Hotel 1996 Main St. There are many cute shops, breweries, restaurants and historic buildings to visit including Peterson’s chocolates and the Cheese Fairy. Dinner is at 5:30 pm back at the campground. Barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs provided by the committee. Please BYO table setting, a beverage and a side dish to share: baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, fruit salad, veg. tray, chips and dips, or a dessert. Let Bonnie know your choice. Evening: card or table games in the meeting room.
May 15th (Thursday) Breakfast and lunch on your own. After lunch we will carpool to Haines, Oregon 9.5 miles from the campground. It is a small mining town North West of Baker City on HWY 30. At 2:30 pm we will tour the Haines’ Eastern Oregon Museum-610 3rd. St. Wear coats or jackets as there is no heat. A $3 donation is requested. Dinner is at 4:30 pm at the “ Haines Steakhouse”-910 Front St known for their famous prime rib, steaks, and chuckwagon salad bar. This is a fun way to end our Baker City campout.
May 16th (Friday) Safe travels home. Check out time is noon PDT.
