Dessert Fruit Cobbler

Batter:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup of milk
Mix until smooth.

Use any kind of fruit.

Melt 1 cube of margarine or butter in 8 or 9 inch pan. Pour batter gently over butter, do not stir. Gently add 1 pint of canned fruit with juice over batter. Sprinkle with ½ cup sugar.
