June 2009 Campout
Idaho Good Sam RV Rally

Our outing in June was in Hagerman Idaho with the Idaho State Good Sams.

Some of us parked on the High School campus and others parked across the street in the city park. Both locations were convenient for the activities. The weather was cool and pleasant for the most part.

In addition to the Good Sam activities, we were treated to several tours of local area attractions. This gentleman is owner of a local dairy called
West Point Farms.

The dairy has a herd of 5200 cows that get milked three times a day.

This dairy provides all of its milk to the Jerome Cheese Company.

Out of 5200 cows, only one was interested in Good Sams.

We had plenty of room right beside our trailer for pot-luck and socializing.

The Time-To-Travel Orange Team is ready for bean-bag baseball.

We need a homer, Ross!

Another tour was to the Jerome Cheese Company where we found out what happens to all that milk.

While many of the ladies attended a Red Hat Tea, the men toured a local wind farm.

The rally ended with a dinner, entertainment and raffle drawings in the gymnasium.
