Brownlee Reservoir - Oct, 2006

The southernmost dam of the three, at end of Hwy 71. This 395-foot rockfill dam creates Brownlee Lake, 57 1/2 miles long, reaching to 10 miles north of Weiser. Woodhead Park, a short distance south, and McCormick Park, a short distance north, provide picnicking, boat ramps; tent and trailer sites, showers.

Our Oct outing was at the Woodhead park near Brownlee Dam.

Halfway and Richfield OR are in the background of this photo which was taken due west from the old microwave station above the reservior.
