Sweet Onion Casserole

  • 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 medium onions, sliced into ¼ inch rings
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 package (10-ounce) potato chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • paprika
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the soup and milk in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange half the onion rings in the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover with half the cheese, then half the potato chips. Repeat layers. Pour the soup mixture over layers. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Sprinkle with paprika.
