Ginger's Salad

  • 1 can pears in lite syrup (reserve juice)
  • 6-8 cups greens
  • ½ cup grated or crumbled cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts
  • Options: dried cherries, cranberries, avocado, celery, red onion, mandarin oranges

Dice pears and mix with greens. Add cheese, nuts and any of the options. Add dressing just before serving.

Dressing:

  • ¼ cup reserved juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard

Serves 6 to 8
