Earthquake Cake

  • 1 package german chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/3 cups pecans, chopped
  • 3½ ounces sweet coconut
Cover bottom of 9x13 pan with nuts and coconut. Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Pour on top of nuts and coconut. Soften butter and add cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat together well. Spoon over unbaked batter. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
